Next on NPR: The All Songs Considered folks are quick – the Arcade Fire gig from last night is available for streaming already, with downloads coming in the next two days. I’m listening again as I get the house in order. I’m particularly infatuated with the resurrected No Cars Go – one of the first tracks they recorded. It starts about 18 minutes into the stream if you wanna check it out. Just love the energy, the driving percussion and the great guitar tone. Then it morphs into Haiti, the song Regine wrote about her parents’ homeland. The whole gig manages to plow full speed ahead, even though the whole band was sick.
