Toasty!

Lovely: Got out of the house for some errands today – glorious 85 degree day with a nice breeze that kept it from feeling too warm. (76 is usually the limit for us San Franciscans – most residences here don’t have air conditioning.)  Mainly, I followed qualifying at Indianapolis and rested, but it was interesting to move around a bit to see how my body responded. Lower back was pretty achy when I got home, but that is common after this surgery.

Your hero, Davey, is doing a nice thing in helping John A. get up to speed. You’ve picked a good one to follow.

  2. I’d hate for John to miss the race after having such a rough month all the way around, so Davey will be my double hero if they do…

Mine, too. Can you believe Scheckter is on the bubble?

Feeling better? I keep checking your posts.

  5. “Schocking!” Wondering how things will play out this last hour…

BTW: I changed computers and don’t have your e-mail address.

  7. Feeling a bit better. Taking time – kinda big surgery to recover from, so it will go slowly. Going a little stir crazy, but must take it easy.
