Hiya – I know a few folks who would lay claim to the title of “Indy’s Burger Fan,” so whoever you are, thanks for the kind words. I’m looking forward to feeling better, and the 6-week break will be nice, as well.
I thought you only knew one Indy burger fan. This is the Fig one. Anyway, I meant that when I said I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow and the time that follows. Indy will miss you this year apparently.
I tried to leave a comment earlier, but maybe it didn’t work. Anyway, I hope tomorrow goes well. I’m sure you have a lot of friends pulling for you. Maybe we’ll say hello at Sonoma. An apology awaits you.
If you’re the Fig, I guess I have to be the Girl. (Typical typecasting for me…
) I’ve been told I can attend Indy if I feel up to it, but I don’t know. May tire too easily and will still be all swelled up around the middle and slow to get around. I’d say the chances are slim. Thanks for your wishes. I am tired of being miserable and cannot WAIT to get into OR. I’ll be catching up with blogs and tweets in a morphine haze tomorrow evening….

Naw, I was doing it myself, via Twitter, from the comfort of my hospital bed.
Surgery was a little more involved than anticipated, but all went well. Nausea kept me there an extra day. Just got home, got the radio network and VERSUS fired up and I’m good to go. Thanks.
Glad you’re back and apparently safe. Thought about you a lot this week.
